The digital transformation that companies have experienced in recent years both in internal and external operations has generated huge amounts of data. The big data revolution has allowed the storage and processing of these data more quickly and affordably then ever before. This, in turn, has triggered a wide variety of business applications, allowing for great automation and optimization of decision-making.
The session will briefly review the drivers that explain the big data revolution and will describe some real-life use cases studies in marketing, operations and pricing in industries such as telecom, retail, utilities and travel.
